Villa Alle Grazie

At the beginning of the twentieth century following the early expansion of the historical centre in Spilamberto, a series of high-class villas or country houses with an annexed courtyard in via Matteotti towards VIgnola were built.
Nowadays the expansion has been growing and all that used to be suburbs in the past has become a built-up area in the present. In this area, which is relatively young, is located an austere, elegant but, at the same time, simple building where you can enjoy the atmosphere and taste refined food.

Villa Alle Grazie

is how the restaurant is called. Simplicity of style and refined food are the main features of the "cartes" which are proposed.

From the cellar

The wine list matches old traditional wines and more recent ones. It is highly appreciated both by wine experts and by the ones who are not.
The ones who are not going to drink a whole bottle of wine but enjoy tasting a glass of wine are offered  wines by the glass.

The same thing is also possible for the menu which is by choice:
if you are in a hurry you can choose "La colazione di lavoro" (Working luncheon).

If you are romantic people wishing to spend a special evening you can choose "Menu Degustazione" (Tasting menu)

If you are fanciful people fond of matching food according to your tastes, you can choose "La carte" with earth food and sea food.

Of course there are "Theme evenings" with truffle in the late autumn and in the early winter; pumpkin flowers im the summer.

From the kitchen

Our refined cooking follows our local traditions. Balsamic vinegar, parmesan cheese and ham are  fundamental for our cooking so that it may be highly appreciated.

Moreover, you may choose:
Bread just taken out of the oven;
Handmade fresh pasta;
Local cakes made of almonds and, why not, balsamic vinegar.

The place

Refinement of style is to be found all aroung. The small rooms in the restaurant are simple with light-shaded walls and light-curtained windows. The tables spaced out among one another allow reservedness but not anonymity.
The furniture is refined, embellished by old pieces which make the atmosphere pleasant and homely.
In the same way as the kitchen changes its looks in every season, the dining saloon follows it, or better it moves into the garden in the shadow of the secular
 Cedrus Atlantica Glauca.
